But so many other scholars have butchered that particular subject, therefore when a scholar comes along who really gets it right, it is a real treasure!Apuleius Platonicushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11761230673724504084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817911217098974229.post-39004623139990197302012-09-17T13:30:48.168-04:002012-09-17T13:30:48.168-04:00thanks apuleius - the book is on my reading list ...thanks apuleius - the book is on my reading list - it also seems it managed to annoy hardcore Christians. Siniossoglou is working with Anthony Kaldellis on another major project: an Intellectual History of Byzantium to be published by Cambridge University Press. Kaldellis and Siniossoglou are doing what the so-called "Pagan scholars" have never dared to do, they are telling the real story (or at least one major sub-plot of the story) of the survival of Paganism!Apuleius Platonicushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11761230673724504084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817911217098974229.post-29929712994073013302012-06-15T22:14:06.790-04:002012-06-15T22:14:06.790-04:00Thanks!
