I think I probably agree with the Richard Dawkins Foundation article you linked.
ReplyDeleteI think Wilders is a dim-witted hatemonger.
However, dim-witted hatemongers should be rejected by audiences on the basis of their ideas, not prosecuted for the unpopularity of those ideas.
I root for the 1st Amendment, whether its on behalf of Wilders or even Rev. Fred Phelps.
I was VERY glad to see Wilders walk.
I used to be a bigger fan of Wilders than I am now, but I'm still not to the point of considering him a dim-witted hatemonger. But you may be right.
